To tell the story of Valor Humano, we must go back to September 20, 2009, when its founder, Wiston Uzcátegui Pinto, after several years in the corporate world, began to question the impact he wanted to leave on society. That day, he realized it was time to change his path and embarked on a new adventure with a renewed purpose: to drive the prosperity of family businesses and the communities they serve.
Deep Roots in Authentic Values
Coming from a close-knit family that instilled in him the importance of being a sensitive, generous, and respectful person, Wiston began his professional career at a very young age.
His journey led him to live in six countries, where he not only developed his managerial skills and built a highly successful career, but also gained confidence in his decisions and consistency in his principles of doing what is right—and doing it well.
Lessons from the Corporate World
His time in the corporate world taught him how the organizational capabilities of large corporations can impact the quality of life for thousands of people. He learned to admire and empathize with those who invest deeply in entrepreneurship and witnessed both the successes and the hardships faced by those who build with great effort. One only needs to look at the stories of major multinationals to understand how they have evolved throughout their journeys.

Inspired by entrepreneurs and their ability to transform societies, he realized that they are the main driving force behind economic growth and the creation of formal employment.
This discovery marked a turning point: he understood that contributing to social development required more than driving business success through executive headhunting. It was essential to strengthen the ecosystem of family businesses, which represent more than three-quarters of the business fabric in the region.
